I concentrate on working with innovative European SMEs and start-ups. Most of my work is in software, semiconductors and optics. Over the years, my practice has covered most aspects of contentious and non-contentious patent law including original drafting, global prosecution, European oppositions, advisory work and litigation. Recently, I have seen a lot of new work in artificial intelligence applied to diverse application fields such as medical imaging, pharmaceutical manufacturing, database interrogation and robot vision.
